WORKSHOP JOURNAL

Stories of craft and recovery

In our Los Angeles workshop, we pair rigorous design standards with restorative employment. These are the journeys of the makers shaping our materials and building independent futures.

Marcus’s path

Elena’s precision

David’s patience

Marcus joined our studio after years of housing instability. Today, he manages our timber selection and precision joint assembly.

Elena mastered our industrial sewing machines in six weeks. Her focus on clean lines ensures every linen piece meets our exact standards.

David found stability through the repetitive, calming rhythm of the pottery wheel. He now leads our small-batch ceramic production.

OUR METHOD

Rigorous standards

We do not compromise on design quality. Our restorative workplace succeeds because we hold our makers to the highest professional standards, ensuring every product is built to last.

By centering craft-first employment and living wages, we cultivate a community of proud artisans who take absolute ownership of their work.

All materials are sourced locally within California, prioritizing organic linen, reclaimed timber, and completely non-toxic clay.
